I am out of eggs...seriously??? Well this wouldn't be to bad of a problem if the grocery store was open. Now I have to wait 2 1/2 hours for it to open...ugh this is going to put me behind schedule...oh well I guess.

Once my boquet is finished I'll be sure to post a picture.

in the middle of moving my cousin was in a horrible motorcycle accident and passed on. then we moved and my office is unpacked and i am back in business...I am so happy!!!!

Our countdown has begun on the big move!!

My current landlord really needs to look up the word professional then try to act accordingly. I understand he wants to get this house rented as soon as possible that way he isn't out any money. According to the tenant landlord act he must give us notice of him or anyone else being in our home.

Yesterday was ridiculous!! He had notified us of a man coming at 1 p.m. to look at the house. So you can imagine how suprised I was when it was 10 o'clock and my doorbell was ringing...thank goodness I knew the person that showed up.

I had invited her in, mainly because I knew her and I wanted to know some information. We have a verbal agreement (which is legal in this state) we will be out the first week of August...from what 1st person, and the 2nd couple who came unannounced, he's telling everyone August 2nd. Totally against our agreement!!!

Then when he came with the man at 1 p.m. I brought it all up to him about violating my rights as a tenant. He simply said oh yah I forgot...

Another couple came by at 3 to look at the house I instructed them to walk across the street and talk to the landlord because it was not a good time to come in.

UGH!!! We're on countdown and I couldn't be happier!!!

Crafting Bucket List

I recently watched "The Bucket List" and began to think about all the things I wanted to do or try before dying. For now I would like to share a few of the items on my crafting bucket list. After moving I will try my best to update and achieve these things!

Make a suitcase chair
Finish Drake's playhouse
Learn 3 different weaving styles for headbands
Knit something other than a scarf
Crochet something other than a coaster
Make a dress out of ties
Letter associated "I Spy" bags
Peek-a-boo blankie
Butterfly Rag Quilt
Owl Rag Quilt

Just keep packing!

This is my mantra at least until we move...I have the whole house except for neccesities packed up and ready to go! Considering the last 2 times that I have moved I was not ready in the least...this is amazing progress!

I was still able to work up some feather headbands today while taking a break from the heat!

Drake's Playhouse...Part 1

I saw this amazing play house over at homemade By Jill when I was pregnant and thought she did an amazing job! One day after noticing my little man being brave and going into dark rooms and tunnels by himself (just a pop up tunnel ;) ) I decided he would love a playhouse!

Could I remember the amazing blog I had seen almost a year previously? Yah right, ask my family I'm lucky to remember my name let alone other important things. So I had to search and search, finally I found her blog and studied her work.

A lovely trip to Hobby Lobby and at least 5 yards and 2 packages of 8 1/2 X 11" felt I came home and got to work!

I didn't take pictures of "in the process" but I do have a semi finished play house!

Welcome! Here we have the front of his house the mail slot being in the door, we have a "Name" rock in front of his house and the window!

Man's best friend's house! Our dog actually crawls through the door!

The house is being finished slowly but surely, I hope to have it done before September, when I finish I will upload pictures!
